Favorite data If the lateral edges of the anterior intestinal portal are ablated by laser while the ventral foregut is closing, as shown in these images, then heart looping is randomized suggesting that the anterior intestinal portal carries right-left patterning information. The green stripes in B show the dead cells after laser ablation which can also be seen at the arrow in C. |
